The Tek Know range of “dry block” calibrators generates true reference temperatures using Peltier elements. The temperature controller of the calibrators uses an unique sliding PID proportional band algorithm. This response closely follows the heating curve of an actual thermal system. Each instrument calibrated against precision temperature equipment that is traceable to international standards and calibration certificates are supplied with each unit.
After the sensor is placed in the calibrator and the temperatureis set, the dual line display shows the true and set temperature. When stabilization occurs, the temperature can be read. The Tek Know calibrator may be used for calibration of all types of sensors or complete temperature loops.
The RS232 port makes fully automatic calibration possible in conjunction with Tradinco Autocal® calibration software.
